We’ve recently teamed up with global private healthcare provider ALC to provide a range of tailored healthcare solutions for professional pilots and cabin crew. Whilst the national carriers often have such schemes in place, a large number of commercial pilots are effectively left to arrange their own cover. This personal contract can be secured on an individual or group basis. Please contact us for details.
Loss of Training Expenses Insurance
We’re now able to secure training expenses cover for cadet pilots on integrated courses. The policy covers the portion of monies lost should a sudden illness or disability mean the training cannot be completed. Given the upfront course fees can often nudge the £100k mark this is very valuable protection.
A decade with SPI
Loreli, our case manager, has just celebrated 10 years with the firm. The chances are that , if you arrange insurance through SPI, you’ll talk with her at some point. We may shortly have another pilot in our midst as she’s looking at commencing a NPPL course during 2017.
Fixed Wing (Group A) & glider pilot life cover
We have recently been able to source an insurer offering enhanced flying hour allowances in these categories. For gliders we have unlimited flying hours terms… so no premium loadings irrespective of the number of hours flown. For powered flying the hours allowance can be up to 150 per annum.
Pooleys discount continues
Our long standing discount scheme with Pooleys is set continue for 2017. SPI clients can now enjoy very worthwhile reductions on virtually every product line they sell. This includes a 20% reduction on Pooleys own label products.
